One of the 5 leading European boat shows and the leading boat show in Central Europe, the 27th Biograd Boat Show, after a five-day spectacle on sea and land and a series of successful business meetings and agreements, closed on Sunday in Marina Kornati.
Ilirija d.d., a tourism company from Biograd na Moru, which organizes and hosts the fair, gathered a record number of over 400 exhibitors and 500 vessels at the 27th edition of the Biograd Boat Show. More than 50 premiere vessels were presented, confirming this year’s fair as the most important nautical event in Croatia and one of the leading in Europe.
The company Ilirija d.d. has a rich 68-year history and a deep-rooted passion for nautical activities that has lasted for over 48 years. Ilirija d.d. is a pioneer in the development of nautical tourism in Croatia, having built the first targeted and dedicated nautical tourism port in Croatia 48 years ago. In the same year, it also formed its first charter fleet of 40 Elan boats, which also initiated the development of charter tourism in Croatia.

This elevated Biograd to the cradle of nautical tourism in the country, and today, thanks to the dedication and development of Ilirija, it is the third most visited nautical port on the Croatian Adriatic.
The five-day festival of world and European nautical, in this year’s version, presented itself with “5 fairs in one”, because it united in one place the exhibition fair of boats and equipment, congress, charter, business to business and the fair of luxury cars, real estate and travel, which added that note of glamor and luxury, i.e. Croatian premium offer, which is appropriate to be associated precisely with nautical as our most elite form of tourism.
All of this fit into “5 fairs in one”: the 27th Biograd Boat Show – exhibition fair, the 9th HKG Days of Croatian Nautics – congress fair, the 7th Croatia Charter Expo – charter fair, the 10th Biograd B2B – business fair and the 2nd Croatia Luxury and Adventure Travel Show – luxury and adventure tourism fair.
