An inspection of the publicly available data and content of the website https://turistickiregistar.com/hr/ determined that the private company Turist reg j.d.o.o. is behind the mentioned platform, with which the Ministry of Tourism and Sports is in no way connected.
Although the platform’s pages state that registration in the register in question is not a legal obligation nor is it an official register of the competent authorities of the Republic of Croatia, renters are sent invitations to register for a fee, which may create the wrong impression that this is a binding or official record.
The Ministry therefore emphasizes that this is not an official register, that registration is not a legal obligation, and that landlords are not required to make a payment or submit their registration information.
In the event of receiving such calls or payment slips, renters are advised not to make a payment or provide their information.
