The newly founded Split Sports Club, which brings together elementary school children and introduces them to the world of basketball, athletics and sports skills, has received valuable support from the Porat Krilo and Bajnice Association. The association, which brings together tourist boat owners, decided to donate 1,000 euros for the club’s work and development.
“With this donation, we want to support the club’s work so that as many children as possible can participate in the activities the club offers, because we all know how important it is for children to engage in sports as much as possible in this modern era when we all spend too much time in front of various screens,” the Association said.
ŠK Split currently has more than 70 active members, children from the 3rd to the 8th grade of elementary school, and they plan to increase the number of members in the new school year. In addition to sports skills, the club emphasizes the development of team spirit, socialization and a healthy lifestyle.
Club president Srđan Biljarski thanked the Association for the donation and stressed that the funds will be of great help in the further development of the club and better quality work with children. “Every support means a lot to us because it allows us to provide children with better conditions for training and development,” said Biljarski.
