Members of the Croatian Association of Private Shipowners organized a one-day trip for residents of the Center for Education Juraj Bonači from Split. They hosted 20 residents and 20 of their assistants on the ships Delija and Tuna, giving them an unforgettable day at sea. The sailing started in Split, and the destination was the wonderful place Nečujam on the island of Šolta. This trip, which takes place at the end of summer, has already become a traditional event that everyone looks forward to. Children’s smiles testify to the good mood and positive atmosphere that prevailed throughout the day, and the participants look forward to meeting again next year.

The captain and crew of the Le Cordea ship showed their hospitality to the users of the Spektar Association, who took them on a trip to Brač, and children from the Down-21 Syndrome Association who were hosted by the ship Mali Ante also enjoyed sailing to Brač. Children, parents and volunteers spent unforgettable moments filled with song and socializing.

“We are grateful for this wonderful initiative that allowed children with developmental disabilities to enjoy the boats of big-hearted owners. We hope that this will become a tradition, and the love that our children give and the joy that they do not hide, will be remembered for a lifetime,” said the Down-21 Syndrome Association.
