“Visit me” for even more domestic guests in the postseason!

Updated on:

The Croatian National Tourist Board has launched the second wave of the successful “Visit Me” campaign, created for the domestic market, which focuses on local experiences, authentic experiences and the offer of Croatian destinations. The main goal of the campaign is to encourage domestic travelers to discover and explore hidden places, lesser-known locations and the beauties of our country. The campaign will be active until the end of October, and this time the promotional materials include Korčula, the Zadar hinterland, Podravina and Lika.

“Domestic tourists made a strong contribution to Croatia’s positive tourism results during the first eight months of this year. Namely, we achieved 2.4 million arrivals and 11.2 million overnight stays from the domestic market in the aforementioned period. Compared to last year, this represents an 8 percent increase in arrivals and 3 percent in overnight stays. This is a historic result that confirms the potential of our market. Through this campaign, we want to further introduce domestic tourists to quality and attractive locations that stand out for their interesting and authentic tourist offer. This offer is particularly evident in the pre- and post-season periods.” , said Kristjan Staničić, director of the Croatian Tourist Board. He particularly emphasized that the focus of the campaign is on destinations from the continent, that is, from the interior of our country.

Activities within the campaign will be carried out on online and offline communication channels. This includes native articles, social media advertising, print ads, digital outdoor advertising, YouTube, etc.

The first wave of the campaign, which included the destinations Dugi otok, Šibenik, Slavonia, Gorski kotar, Zagorje and Međimurje, achieved excellent promotional results and sympathy among domestic travel enthusiasts, who will once again be introduced to the special features of the selected destinations, their traditions and everyday life. The campaign can also be followed on the website of the Croatian Tourist Board, where the first video about Korčula has already been published.
