Croatia has been included in The Good to Go List 2026, an annual list by Wanderlust, one of the oldest and most respected British travel magazines. The list highlights the world’s most exciting destinations for 2026. It brings together destinations selected based on authentic experiences, a responsible approach to tourism and impressive local stories. Our country is on the list thanks to its recognizable rich history, cultural heritage and unique identity and legacy.

“Croatia among the top 26 for 2026; this is another recognition from a respected foreign media outlet that confirms our position as a tourist destination that offers more than just travel. Croatia offers authentic experiences throughout the year, a connection to heritage and experiences that tourists remember for a long time, and it is precisely such content that modern travelers are looking for. It is a great honor to receive recognition from the British market, whose guests recognize our country as a quality and safe destination with a wide range of tourist products,” said Bisera Fabrio, Director of the CNTB Representative Office in London, adding that Croatia’s inclusion on The Good to Go List 2026 further strengthens our visibility in one of the key source markets for Croatian tourism.

In its article dedicated to Croatia, Wanderlust highlights how our country has long been at the center of human evolution, gastronomy and culture. It mentions prehistoric heritage, including Krapina and the largest site of Neanderthal remains, the Vučedol culture, and the cravat, which originates from Croatia. In addition, Istria is presented as one of the most important European truffle regions, with a rich offer of festivals and gastronomic events in places like Motovun and Buzet.
