The business of small Croatian shipping companies needs to be given strategic importance for our coast and islands. The previous activities have not solved the known difficulties related to the business of shipping companies, and therefore it is necessary to form working groups in each of the competent ministries that will take care of shipping companies, be familiar with their challenges and needs, and actively contribute to the implementation of projects of importance for the future of this branch of tourism
One representative of small shipping companies should be included in the working groups so that they are familiar with the activities related to their business, but also give their constructive contribution, especially related to plans for the construction of ports, reconstruction of existing ones and ways of using berths.
