Leading Irish media, journalists from “traditional” and new media, almost 70 of them, gathered in Dublin<\/strong> last week for the traditional meeting of tourism organizations and leading tourism companies – Meet the Media<\/strong><\/em>, all to find out news from different markets and opportunities and topics that are interesting for travel reports from a journalistic perspective. The meeting was attended, among others, by the Croatian Tourist Board’s Representative Office for Great Britain and Ireland<\/strong>. <\/p>\n\n “Given that in 2024 we had more than 124 thousand Irish guests in Croatia, who achieved 560 thousand overnight stays, or recorded a growth of 12 percent in arrivals and 11 percent in overnight stays, Croatia is truly a destination that the Irish love to come to, and thanks to several direct flights from Dublin to destinations in our country, they are discovering more and more places that they did not know much about before. That is why the loyalty of the Irish media in publishing content from Croatia is truly a valuable inspiration for travel, and this meeting confirmed that there are many new, undiscovered destinations in Croatia that they would like to learn more about.” <\/em>, said Bisera Fabrio<\/strong>, director of the Croatian Tourist Board’s Representative Office for Great Britain and Ireland.<\/p>\n\n Our country is among the favorites of the Mediterranean and Southern Europe. The media, as trend-setters, therefore wanted to find out all the news regarding the “undiscovered gems” and the general Croatian tourist offer. Accordingly, there was great interest in filming reality TV shows in Croatia, which have a high viewership in Ireland. <\/p>\n\n The Irish love to travel to sunny and warm places, motivated by beaches, islands, wine and food offerings, and historical and cultural landmarks.
