Sailing in the Croatian part of the Adriatic requires clear knowledge of the rules, regulations and restrictions relating to anchoring and mooring of ships. Whether you are a boat captain, a recreational boater, or a citizen who wants to report irregularities at sea, it is extremely important to know where you can find accurate and up-to-date information. In Croatia, the sole authority for this is the Croatian Hydrographic Institute (HHI), as the only official institution that issues and maintains nautical charts, pilot books and other navigational publications.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

HHI regularly issues official nautical charts and pilots, which are essential tools for every ship’s captain when planning safe and legal navigation. All changes affecting valid charts and pilots are published through monthly publications called “Advertisements for Mariners”.
