Stone drops – the lexicon of the beauty of the \u0160ibenik-Knin County <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

Creative presentation of natural and cultural beauties is one of the most effective ways of promoting the Croatian tourist offer. With the increasing importance of visual communication, photomonographies occupy a special place. They not only document the space, but also create an emotional connection with the destination. When photography is combined with narrative, a powerful promotional tool is created that goes beyond classic brochures and guides. This is precisely what was achieved through the new edition of the photomonography \u201cDroplets of Stone \u2013 Lexicon of the Beauty of \u0160ibenik-Knin County\u201d<\/em>, which was officially presented today in \u0160ibenik and Zagreb. <\/p>\n\n

The monograph is published in Croatian and English. It was presented by the editor of the publication and director of the \u0160ibenik-Knin County Tourist Board, Kre\u0161imir \u0160aki\u0107, and the author of the photographs, Igor Tomljenovi\u0107. It is a publication that, on almost 200 pages, depicts the diverse landscapes and wealth of the region. From the coast to the hinterland, from natural phenomena to cultural heritage. <\/p>\n\n

The presentation brought together numerous guests from the world of tourism, media, culture and public life. State officials also participated in the program, including State Secretary at the Ministry of Tourism and Sports Tanja Radi\u0107 Lako\u0161. Also, the famous architect Ante Vrban gave his opinion. While the musical note of the evening was set by tenor \u0110ani Stipani\u010dev, with a performance of famous Dalmatian songs. <\/p>\n\n

Emotion and connection with space<\/h2>\n\n

Editor \u0160aki\u0107 emphasized that the aim of the monograph is to awaken an emotional connection with the space and encourage people to experience it authentically. \u201c\u2018Droplets of Stone\u2019 is not just a pictorial guide, but an invitation to stop, look and feel the power of the space from which we come,<\/em>\u201d said \u0160aki\u0107.<\/p>\n\n

Photographer Igor Tomljenovi\u0107 said that each photograph in the book was carefully selected with the aim of stimulating curiosity, but also respect for the nature, culture and people who shape the area of \u200b\u200b\u0160ibenik-Knin County.<\/p>\n\n

The texts in the publication are signed by writer and journalist Emir Imamovi\u0107 Pirke, who gives the monograph a personal, almost poetic tone, which further emphasizes the emotional experience of the image and space. Architect Ante Vrban described the monograph as a \u201ctrace of belonging\u201d and a \u201cmap of memory\u201d that has the power to return people to their roots, but also inspire them to get to know the destination more deeply and responsibly. <\/p>\n\n
