Lastavica Cruising has won a prestigious international award for the second time. This time it is the Gold Magellan Award 2025 in the Best Cuisine category, presented by Travel Weekly, the world’s leading business media outlet specializing in the travel industry. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

Travel Weekly is globally recognized as the most influential B2B source of news, analysis and resources for travel professionals, from travel agents to global company executives. Their Magellan Awards are one of the most prestigious accolades in the U.S. and global travel industry, recognizing excellence in design, marketing and service in segments such as aviation, hospitality and cruises. <\/p>\n\n

The winners are decided by a jury composed of distinguished experts from the international tourism community, including prominent names such as Paula Hayes, retired president of Globus & Avalon Waterways, Peter Greenberg from the American network CBS News, and Jean-Claude Baumgarten, former president of the World Travel and Tourism Council.<\/p>\n\n

Lastavica Cruising, owned by the Stan\u010di\u0107 family, stood out by describing the attention and dedication they devote to the quality of their cuisine and the experience of their guests, from the carefully designed menus to the olive oil from their own olive groves that they serve to their passengers. The application, in addition to the chefs’ top culinary education and experience, also included photos of the dishes and impressions from numerous travel professionals who had the opportunity to enjoy their gastronomy during their cruise. <\/p>\n\n
