As part of the Croatian Tourism Days program, a unique and innovative lecture entitled “AI and Travel: Smart Support with a Human Signature” was held, organized by the Croatian National Tourist Board. The lecture was given by Sam Beni, an expert specializing in the application of artificial intelligence with an emphasis on the area of \u200b\u200bComplex AI, which combines the latest achievements with interactive augmented reality (AR), and before the lecture itself, Kristjan Stani\u010di\u0107, Director of the Croatian National Tourist Board, addressed the audience. <\/em><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

“Digital transformation is one of the key directions of development of modern tourism, and such lectures and innovative presentations show how technology can further enrich the experience of a destination, without losing authenticity and human contact. Artificial intelligence and augmented reality do not replace our tradition, culture and emotion, but interpret them in a new, modern and attractive way. That is why, in the Croatian Tourist Board, we continuously encourage the application of innovative solutions that enable a more personalized approach to guests, strengthen the competitiveness of the destination and contribute to the sustainable development of tourism. It is precisely projects such as these, which combine technology and tourism, that confirm our commitment to following global trends and positioning Croatia as a modern, creative and innovative destination,” said Stani\u010di\u0107. <\/p>\n\n

A highlight of this presentation was the display of AR and interactive 3D live experiences, including visuals inspired by Croatian heritage and identity \u2013 from the Dubrovnik Walls and the Ba\u0161ka Tablet to stylized motifs such as the gingerbread heart, the feather and recognizable Croatian squares. The presentation also emphasized that artificial intelligence does not pose a threat to people in tourism, but rather a powerful tool that enables more personalized experiences, more efficient business operations and a deeper connection with guests. <\/p>\n\n

“This innovative blend of technology, education and experience represents a significant step forward in thinking about the future of tourism. With Complex AI<\/em>, you can make more logical decisions by removing human biases and errors, but it is important to emphasize that technological development will never replace people, and that the future of tourism lies in the relationship between people and AI together,” said. <\/strong>Beni. <\/strong><\/p>\n\n
