In the first ten months of 2025, 92 foreign cruise ships sailed into the Croatian Adriatic. They made a total of 715 cruises. A total of one million passengers stayed on these ships, who spent 1,624 days in Croatia – it was announced on the website of the Central Bureau of Statistics. <\/em><\/strong><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n

Compared to the same period in 2024, there was a 15.0% increase in the number of foreign cruise ships. At the same time, the number of cruises made by these ships increased by 2.6%, and the number of passengers on them by 0.2%. Also, compared to the same period last year, the total number of days spent by these ships increased by 4.0%. <\/p>\n\n

In the period from January to October 2025, foreign cruise ships calling at Croatia sailed under the flags of 16 countries. The most voyages were made by ships under the flag of Malta, a total of 222 voyages, which makes up 31.0% of all cruises. This is followed by cruises of foreign ships made under the flags of the Bahamas (150 voyages), Panama (93 voyages) and Norway (65 voyages). <\/p>\n\n

Of the total of 715 cruises by foreign ships, the largest share was achieved in the Dubrovnik-Neretva (46.7%) and Split-Dalmatia (21.7%) counties. These two counties together accounted for slightly more than two-thirds (68.4%) of all cruises in the Croatian Adriatic. The remaining 31.6% of trips were achieved in: Zadar (17.1%), Istria (5.6%), \u0160ibenik-Knin (5.0%) and Primorje-Gorski Kotar (3.9%). <\/p>\n\n

The Port of Dubrovnik is traditionally the most visited Croatian port for foreign cruise ships, with a total of 525 visits in the first ten months of 2025. This is followed by the ports of Split (291 visits), Zadar (207 visits), Kor\u010dula (116 visits), Hvar (105 visits), Rovinj (95 visits) and \u0160ibenik (85 visits). <\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
