These ships carried 1.1 million passengers, who stayed in the Republic of Croatia for a total of 1,684 days, the Croatian Bureau of Statistics announced.  <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Compared to the same period in 2024, there was an 11.8% increase in the number of foreign cruise ships. At the same time, the number of cruises made by these ships increased by 2.8%. The number of passengers on them increased by 1.4%. The number of days spent by these ships in the territorial sea of \u200b\u200bthe Republic of Croatia increased by 2.6%.    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the period from January to November 2025, foreign cruise ships sailed under the flags of 16 countries. Foreign cruise ships under the flag of Malta made the largest number of voyages, with 227 voyages. This is 30.4% of the total voyages made in the first eleven months of 2025. This is followed by cruises by foreign ships under the flags of the Bahamas (156 voyages), Panama (98 voyages) and Norway (75 voyages).    <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Of the total of 747 cruises by foreign ships in the Croatian Adriatic, slightly more than two-thirds (68.0%) were made in two counties: Dubrovnik-Neretva (46.4%) and Split-Dalmatia (21.6%). The remaining 32.0% of trips were made in the following counties: Zadar (17.1%), Istria (5.8%), \u0160ibenik-Knin (5.2%) and Primorje-Gorski Kotar (3.9%). <\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Port of Dubrovnik is traditionally the most visited Croatian port for foreign cruise ships.
