The Korčula Town Tourist Board has developed a new digital solution—a mobile application designed to provide information more quickly and easily to visitors, as well as to the residents of the town and the island of Korčula. The goal is to make key information more accessible and to highlight the numerous events held throughout the year in the Korčula town area.
The app is linked to the website of the Korčula Town Tourist Board (www.visitkorcula.eu), which remains the primary channel for public communication. The aim is not to replicate existing content, but rather to make certain segments more accessible and user-friendly, especially for visitors while in the destination.
It is currently in the testing phase, so the Tourist Board welcomes any feedback and suggestions.
It is available for Android and iOS devices, and for full use of all functionalities, certain permissions must be enabled. It is recommended to enable access to the location, so that the offer and content near the user can be displayed based on the location, and it is also suggested to turn on receiving notifications (notifications) in order to receive information about upcoming events in a timely manner.
The goal is to encourage as many users and visitors staying in the City of Korčula as possible to download and use the app, thereby providing them with easier access to information and further enriching their experience at the destination.
