The Ministry of Tourism and Sports has published a Public Call for co-financing projects that will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of the tourism economy through the green and digital transition in tourism. The total value of the program is 3.4 million euros.
The program emphasizes the development of sustainable tourism products and the improvement of environmentally friendly processes in the hospitality industry. Then the development of innovative tourist products and services, circular economy and increasing energy efficiency. Funds are allocated through four measures: hotels, campsites, family farms/farmers and nautical tourism vessels.
The Island Shipowners’ Association, in cooperation with the Croatian Association of Private Shipowners, actively monitors tenders and public calls that enable subsidizing projects aimed at improving Croatian tourism and the tourist offer. We also look forward to and encourage any additional opening of potential new sources of subsidies that would further strengthen the development of the tourism sector and increase its competitiveness on the domestic and international markets.
Applications are possible exclusively through the eTourism portal: https://eturizam.gov.hr/ – TuRiznica service. The application may be completed and submitted only by authorized natural persons who are authorized to represent the business entity or applicant, solely for the purpose of submitting an application to the relevant Public Call (in the eCitizens system), otherwise the application will not be valid.
