Work begins on the Resnik – Divulje Maritime Passenger Terminal

Tomorrow, on Tuesday, October 21, 2025, in the large hall of the Split-Dalmatia County on the 4th floor (Homeland War 2), a working meeting of all participants in the Resnik – Divulje Maritime Passenger Terminal project will be held, officially announcing the start of work on this important infrastructure project in the Kaštela Basin.

The meeting will be attended by County Prefect Blaženko Boban, Director of the Port of Split Authority Vice Mihanović, Mayor of Kaštela Denis Ivanović, and Josip Čorić, Director of Sveti Jeronim Airport.

Connecting the airport and the island

The Resnik terminal expansion project will ensure faster and simpler transportation of passengers from Split Airport to their island destinations. The new transportation system will relieve local roads, especially during the tourist season, as passengers will be redirected from the mainland to the sea.

Value and contractor

The contractor is the company Pomgrad, and the total value of the project is 3.4 million euros. The funds were provided by the Port of Split Authority through non-refundable funds from the European Union, with the support of the Government of the Republic of Croatia.
