The popularity of Croatia as a tourist destination in the Polish and UK markets is best confirmed by the covers and reports about our country published in National Geographic Traveler magazine, one of the world’s most influential travel magazines. In this year’s fourth issue of the Polish version of the magazine, Croatia is presented as the main topic through an extensive feature that introduces readers to the diversity of Croatian regions, natural beauties and cultural heritage.

Łukasz Załuski, editor-in-chief of the Polish National Geographic Traveler, points out that Croatia is a destination that travelers are happy to return to.. Some countries attract us again and again, and Croatia is one of the favorite destinations of Poles, for whom the Adriatic represents the ideal backdrop for a real summer vacation., said Załuski.

The reportage takes readers through different parts of our country – from the islands of Hvar, Korčula and Lastovo, to the cities of Dubrovnik and Split. Special emphasis is placed on the natural contrasts of Dalmatia, the cultural richness of Istria and the unique landscape of the Neretva Delta.

The same issue also published an editorial by the deputy editor-in-chief, Agnieszka Załęska-Franus, who, through her personal travel experience, describes the Croatian philosophy of life “little by little”. As she said, it is precisely this approach to life and vacation, through enjoying the moment and without rushing, that highlights some of the special features of Croatia as a destination that provides Polish travel enthusiasts with an authentic experience, from the streets of Dubrovnik and views of the Adriatic to the Plitvice Lakes, Split and numerous historic Istrian towns.

Istovremeno, Hrvatska je zasjala i na naslovnici britanskog izdanja magazina National Geographic Traveller, koji je predstavio brojne hrvatske destinacije i doživljaje u sklopu reportaže na preko 20 stranica.
