The Croatian Tourist Board’s representative office in the USA, in cooperation with the Zadar and Šibenik-Knin Tourist Boards, organized a special event for partners in New York, “Croatia Full of Flavors”, which also marked the beginning of cooperation with a new strategic partner, ABC•CCRA Travel Network, one of the world’s largest and most innovative travel agency consortia.

The event, in addition to presentations from the two regions, also featured four hotels – Falkensteiner Hotels & Residences, Hilton Hotels Croatia, Molum Hotel & Residences and Crvena Luka Resort – and two agencies, Lastavica Cruising and Feel Croatia DMC, whose representatives held meetings with American agents. Croatian food and wine were also promoted, in the form of the oldest Croatian restaurant in New York – Villa Berulia, which this year celebrates 45 years of business.

The event was supported by United Airlines, which promoted direct flights to Croatia, and the CCRA network, which brings together 9,000 agencies and 40,000 agents across the US, and was presented by Chief Commercial Officer Peter Pincus. The event was attended by 22 agents from the premium and luxury travel segments who were presented with gift packages, and the luckiest ones also received vouchers for a short stay in Croatia, FAM trips in the Zadar and Šibenik-Knin counties, and United Airlines return tickets for a trip to Croatia.

On this occasion, representatives of Zadar Airport met with a representative of United Airlines, and the event was also attended by the director of Podravka’s representative office in the USA, Domagoj Kero. The entire presentation of Croatia, on the occasion of cooperation with the CCRA network, was accompanied by representatives and associates of media outlets such as T+L, Travel Pulse, Travel Weekly and NY Croats Radio.

Let us add that the American market is of particular importance for Croatian tourism because it is our most important distant market from which we generate the largest tourist turnover. In 2025, 850 thousand arrivals and 2.4 million overnight stays of American tourists were recorded in Croatia, which represents a growth of 9% in arrivals and 10% in overnight stays compared to 2024.
