Croatian tourism offer presented at the USTOA meeting in Washington

At the annual meeting of the American Tour Operators Association (USTOA) held in Washington D.C. until December 5, the HTZ Representative Office in the USA also participated. The Croatian tourist offer with a focus on sustainable tourism and the new direct New York-Split air line was presented.

The event brought together more than 1,000 participants, leaders, owners and directors of leading American and Canadian travel companies, and over 150 tour operators. Among them were Croatian partners: Dubrovnik Tourist Board, Zagreb Tourist Board, Valamar, Katarina Line, Supertours DMC and Adriatic DMC.

American tour operators are particularly important to Croatia as they bring guests during the pre- and post-season, most often through cruises to Croatia, often in combination with neighboring countries. Their role is crucial for further developing year-round tourism and strengthening Croatia’s recognition as a safe, attractive and sustainable destination.

As part of the event, attractive prize vouchers were awarded – TZ Dubrovnik donated five nights in ALH hotels, Katarina Line a seven-day cruise, while United Airlines provided two return plane tickets in Polaris Business class as part of the new direct route to Croatia.
