Krilo Shipping Company (KSC) from Jesenice is this year’s winner of the Šolta Municipality Group Award. The award is given for significant contributions to the community and selfless cooperation with the Šolta Municipality. The decision was made by the Šolta Municipality Council at its 13th session held on 17 July, and the plaque and charter will be presented at the ceremonial session of the Municipal Council on 3 August, on the occasion of the Šolta Municipality Day.
This recognition is a confirmation of the company’s long-standing cooperation with the local community and its contribution to improving the quality of the island’s connection with the mainland. A regular, safe and reliable maritime connection is one of the key prerequisites for the daily life of the islanders, but also for the development of the economy, tourism and the overall quality of life on Šolta.



As a reminder, since October last year, KSC has been operating the newest catamaran in Croatia, the Orangina, on the state-owned high-speed ferry line Milna – Rogač – Split, which replaced the catamaran Naranča on the line that the company has been successfully operating since 2018. 2024. The Orangina was specially built for the needs of this line, and its introduction has further improved the safety, comfort and quality of maritime transport for the residents of Šolta, Milna and their numerous visitors.
The award of public recognition to KSC represents recognition not only of the company’s successful business operations, but also of the importance of the partnership between local governments and carriers who contribute to the lives of island communities on a daily basis with their work.
